After finding out what a joy it is to just drive our home in and out of a park or parking lot, rather than dealing with the intense packing and setup silliness of tenting. We bought a used Motorhome, after driving around northeast Ohio with the gokarts I knew I wanted the engine in the back and as Diesel fuel has always been cheaper than gas, I wanted a Diesel. Well I got it, and it's a great vehicle, of course fuel prices went stupid and everytime we take it out there is a new problem but what does one expect? It is a house on wheels, all the problems of a house and a truck combined! What more could you want? But when you get where you are going you stop, hook up a couple hoses and a cord or two and your ready for a nice restful night without a rock under your sleeping bag. Added to that is a flush toilet within a couple steps, not to mention a shower, a refrigerator and airconditioning. Ok it isn't camping anymore, but it is nice to go places to see things and have all the comforts of home.
